The Wordless Book is an excellent resource for use in witnessing to others, especially children. This book is easy to learn how to use and is very simple to make. All you need to make a wordless book is black, red, white, yellow or gold and green construction paper or poster board and glue.

Did you know that wild rice isn't actually rice? It is a marsh grass that, when cooked, is used like rice. It grows naturally in the Great Lakes Region of the United States, and foraged wild rice is harvested directly from rivers and streams. Wild rice is one of a few "perfect" foods.

After my junior year of college I was required to spend at least four weeks on a foreign field in order to earn my degree in Missions. I had taken two semesters of Spanish and so I felt I was completely prepared to go to South America.

Deacons serve different purposes in different churches. Some churches have deacons which act as an authority over the Pastor. The deacons are the final decision makers and nothing significant may be done in the church without their approval. In other churches, the Deaconship is more of a title.

After my first son was born it took a little while for the extra weight to start coming off. He was three months old before I really began to notice that I was losing the extra pounds I put on during my pregnancy. I didn't make any changes to my diet, but I did breastfeed.

What are the functions and attributes of the Holy Spirit? The day a person receives Christ, I believe the Holy Spirit of God takes up permanent residency in that person. A Christian's relationship with the Holy Spirit is too often ignored or under-emphasized.

People vary in their opinions of what a Pastor's wife should and should not do in the church. Many people feel that she should be heavily involved in the women's ministries in the church. Some go so far as to expect her to coordinate the nursery, the kitchen and the mission's closet.
