I am amazed at how quickly those five months have gone and how quickly my newborn daughter turned into a laughing, squirming, and very interactive baby. Gone are the days of healing and chilling. Potty Training Our Son Part XIV15 May 2012 06:31 PM Before we began this potty training journey, I was positively terrified. I did not know what to expect and I did not know how successful we would be after several failed attempts. It seemed to be an arduous task that all parents have to tackle at some point in their child's development. Potty Training Our Son Part XIII13 May 2012 02:19 PM Potty training continued into week four with great success. Sometimes our son would announce that he had to go pee or poop and sometimes he would just go by himself (very exciting). Potty Training Our Son Part XII09 May 2012 01:55 PM After our grocery store adventures and visiting grandma and grandpa diaper free, we successfully reached another milestone of potty training. I did not even want to imagine how I would deal with such an event. Potty Training Our Son Part IX06 May 2012 05:34 PM We had a very successful first week in which I did not change one poopy diaper or clean up more than three accidents! I was very pleased with our son's potty training success. However, I was not one hundred percent sure that using the potty was an established habit for our son. Potty Training Our Son Part VIII30 Apr 2012 05:19 PM He was surprisingly upset that he peed in his underwear. I reassured him that it was okay and that sometimes accidents happen when we do not stop what we are doing, or watching in my son's case, to use the potty. I got him into some dry underwear but he was still a little sad. Continuing Post Partum Exercise29 Apr 2012 06:53 PM Now that I am almost five months post partum (it is crazy how quickly time passes), I am realizing that my post partum journey is hardly over. As this stage of my life progresses and evolves, so must my post partum workout routine. Potty Training Our Son Part VII28 Apr 2012 03:02 PM Our first day of hard core potty training was a success. I switched him into a diaper for the night. As we went to sleep that night all I could think about was whether or not our potty training success was a fluke or for real. |
